The brand new SailGrib application is available on the Google Play. SailGrib pour Virtual Regatta is solely dedicated to gaming. It brings the power of SailGrib routing optimized for Virtual Regatta enthusiasts while retaining the ergonomic and popular interface of other SailGrib applications..
By opening the application, once your Virtual Regatta credentials have been entered, you are then instantly connected to your account. By default the application opens on the last connected race. If you have other races in progress, you select them in the side menu (navigation drawer).
Position and track of the boat displayed in real time
Without any manipulation or adjustment, find your position displayed in real time on the planisphere. If a new weather file is available for the game, it will be automatically downloaded when opened. This is the same 1° GFS model that is used in the game.
Totally adapted to the specificities of the game, its routing algorithms until 16 days, developed jointly with Weather4D, are based on the two polars used by Virtual Regatta (depending on the options subscribed), and take into account exclusion zones, speed restrictions in winds above 30 knots, penalties applied to maneuvers, etc. Multiple levels of routing accuracy are available with the subscription.
The routing carried out, send it programming : she will be instantly integrated at the game, and your boat will follow the stages of its new route (only with subscription). With the free version, it will be enough to manually transfer the headings towards each isochrone point in the Virtual Regatta programming function from the route table.
At first start, SailGrib VR displays a quick start to facilitate immediate use of the application. This handling remains accessible from the menu.
Data from Virtual Regatta in real time is displayed in the instruments
All information about your boat from Virtual Regatta is displayed in the instruments, and in a dedicated window. You can scroll through the weather forecast, display isochrones or not, generate a meteogram.
At any time of the day, on the move, on public transport, in a waiting room, at the time of a new weather file, take out your smartphone or tablet and update your route. Back home, you can open the Virtual Regatta site or application and check your position and ranking against other players.
A trial period is planned for 5 days in Premium mode. The free version is limited :

- Standard mode routing
With the Premium subscription of 3 renewable months, all advanced functions are available :
- Routing to 16 days
- 4 routing modes : Fast, Normal, Precise and Expert
- Exporting the programming (until 15 waypoints according to options taken in VR)

Why do I have a premium subscription and I only have 7 days for routing may because my subscription will be active on 3 December ?

Bonjour. I have a paid annual premium version of SailGrib. The SailGrib VR offers a paid premium version for three months . Is it possible to use my version to recover VR and these applications. Merci
I took the subscription version to measure the effectiveness in the next 24 hours which are forecast with tailwind and multiple changes of tack along the ice line.
Basically I tend to think that all routers are roughly the same and until now I used zezo + personal corrections, QTVLM being a little too complicated to configure. So I'm curious to see if a Sailgrib subscription is worth it because this is typically the case in racing where a specific router is useful..
In any case , it’s super practical.

However, a limited free version is indicated. (several articles indicate this).
However, even for very short routing (less than 1 jour), lorsque je souhaite l’envoyer à mon compte Virtual Regatta, il m’est demandé de passer à l’abonnement premium.
Est ce normal ?
